We are rejoicing that the Lord has preserved the vast majority of the clergy and churches that were in the former Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches from a major schism.

In 2019, some of the jurisdictions in the CEEC adopted a document entitled "Instruments of Unity" as the foundation for their relationship, choosing not to operate under a common Canon Law.
